Because you can sort and filter on the status of each unique referral, you can quickly track what’s in your referral pipeline, where you are winning or losing business and why.
But the data benefits for referral feedback don’t stop there.
Referral data is also extremely valuable to us because, when you provide feedback, we analyze that data and apply the ‘machine learning’ to make our Appetite Engine smarter.

2 ways to update referral status
When you receive a referral from TrustedChoice.com, the information about the prospect is displayed on your account’s Prospects tab. You can update a referral’s status there, or directly from the referral alert email we send you.
1. Feedback from the referral email
For each referral you receive, we confirm the request by sending you an email alert. Along with the information the prospect provided, you’ll notice at the bottom of the referral email that we include a unique link that you can click to access the referral record and update the status.
Simply opening the email and clicking the “Tell us how it went!” link offers you an uber fast and easy option to feed the feedback loop.
2. Feedback from your account dashboard
To update the status of a referral from your account, log in to your account and click the Prospects tab. Next, select the referral to update, click the orange “Update Status” button, and follow a series of dropdowns and your done—in less than 15 seconds.
Get a full referral snapshot
Your Advantage account’s Prospects tab is also the place to view a snapshot of all your referral data, including:
- how often your agency appeared in search results
- number of agency profile views
- number of phone calls you received
- number of visitors that viewed your contact information
- number of visits to your agency website accessed from your digital profile
